DEVELOPMENT OF A LEADER
Growing up, Shri Subhash Deshmukh was exposed to many historical developments in Maharashtra. He had seen and experienced the devastation of the 1972 drought, one of the worst in Maharashtra’s history. These hardships familiarized him with the dire problems of the people of Maharashtra, like poverty, hunger and unemployment. Bapu, as he is lovingly called, decided to confront these challenges with a campaign of constructive activities. This gave birth to the Lokmangal group in 1998, which sought to bring stability and growth to the region of Solapur.
EDUCATIONAL ADOPTION
Apart from the many institutions setup, Bapu takes special interest in the growth and development of students and teachers who show exceptional passion in their respective streams.
